Welcome

IAU Symposium 291 will be held on 20 – 24 August, 2012, in association with the 28th IAU General Assembly in Beijing. Pulsar research covers a wide range of astrophysics. It has advanced rapidly in the last few years with many exciting discoveries at radio, X-ray and gamma-ray wavelengths and significant progress in our theoretical understanding of the pulsar phenomenon. This Symposium aims to highlight these recent developments in a broad overview of the current state of pulsar research. We hope that you will join us!
