Tempo2

Tempo2 was originally developed by George Hobbs and Russell Edwards as a replacement for the ageing tempo software. Due to the relative ease of use and the improvements in handling high precision values tempo2 is very widely used by the pulsar community.

It has many useful features for high precision timing of radio pulsars, and has a suite of "plugins" that have extended the use of tempo2 to cover things such as phase aligning gamma-ray photons modelling glitches and timing noise, and over-plotting multiple pulsars.

Tempo2 can be downloaded from the sourceforge page: http://www.sf.net/projects/tempo2/

See the Tempo2 page for more information.
