Polyco (Polynomial Coefficients) files are used in pulsar timing.
They consist of a simple polynomial model of the pulsar period variation between as series given timestamps.
This can be generated by software such as tempo or [[tempo2]], and can then be used to time a pulsar without solving complex equations.
